The European Union Taking Action Against Toxic Chemicals

The European Union is taking action against toxic chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products. Many chemicals currently being used in these products are at risk of being banned. Although this action does not go as far as environmentalists wanted, it is a major step in the right direction. Read more at http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_3595.cfm

Now it’s time for the US to follow suit. Will that happen? We’ll just have to follow the news after the implementation of this new law in mid 2007.
